With the full release of Palworld 1.0 (and all the great additions and changes), I was surprised to see there’s still a Field of View limit of 90 and found it to feel claustrophobic and cramped.
Here’s how to easily and safely increase it to a number of your choice.
- Download the HxD hex editor and open the program once installed.
- In File Explorer, go to %localappdata%\Pal\Saved\SaveGames.
- Make sure Palworld is closed and then drag the UserOption.sav file into the program.
- Press CTRL+F and search for fov and press Enter.
- After FloatProperty, you will see one or more letters. Use your mouse to highlight the last letter and drag backwards until you’ve highlighted four characters in total.

- On the right panel, you will see Single (float32). If you have correctly selected the four characters, this will have a value of 15 if your in-game FOV is set to 90.

- Change the value to your desired number: 15 for 90 FOV, 35 for 110 FOV, 55 for 130 FOV etc.
- Press CTRL+S to save. Relaunch the game and voila! Your FOV is now larger than 90 and you can prove this by checking in game:
